TAG, I'm it!!

Hi sweet friends!!! How are you? It is officially SUMMER now!!! whoo hoo!!! I love spring and summer so much! Our home projects are coming along slowly. You know how it is, lol! They will be here Friday to install our gutters though. I cant wait to have them so I can tear out my other flower bed and get started on it.
How was your Father's Day? Ours was very nice! Chad got his new grill :) He used it to grill and we had my parents over for a cookout. The grill had the hamburgers done in five minutes! I wasn't even done cutting the lettuce and tomato, lol! I forgot to take a pic of him with it but I will take one tonight as he is grilling chicken. We had a nice time with my parents. Watched the movie the Dark Knight. Not my kind of movie but it was the guys night and they picked :) Heath Ledger was really good in it though. I got my dad tickets for him and I to see a baseball game and we will do that July 18th. We enjoy that. What did you all do this weekend?

******************************************************

I have been double tagged! One by my super sweet friend Elyse of Cottage. She tagged me to tell six of my unimportant loves. These tags are so fun :) Okay, my unimportant loves in no particular order :)

I LOVE my Romantic Country Magazine :) But don't we all? I make it a special night when this comes in the mail. I curl up with my blanket and tea and read it cover to cover. I also have a basket full of all of them that I keep rereading. This is the best magazine!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE my Diet Pepsi :) I cant live without it!

Morning just isn't morning without a cup of coffee and my Coffee-Mate fat free hazelnut creamer!!

I simply LOVE clothes. I could/should actually start another blog about clothes! That would be fun! While I love clothes and love dressing up, if I am at home or one of my boys baseball games, the ONLY thing you will EVER see me in is a Victoria's Secret Pink sweatsuit!! They are the best! In fact I just bought the cutie above today along with the pants! So darn cute for summer with the watermelon!

Edy's Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookie ice cream! Need I say more??

I love to walk through the forest. It is probably my favorite thing to do in the summer and fall. It is so peaceful and just calming to the soul.
*************************************************************
Now, my sweet Sis Lori of Pink Faded Roses has tagged me to reveal six unimportant things about myself, lol! You are all learning a lot of unimportant things about me today, lol! SORRY!!
Okay, let's see here,
1. I grew up in a TINY town in Michigan called Grayling. I loved it!
2. My parent's owned a motel and that is how I grew up! It was so fun. Everyone wanted to come to our house because if we had sleepovers, my parents always let us "rent" our own room for the night! In the summer my very best friend Pam and I would work in the motel laundry room and get paid, AND we got our own room for the whole summer!!! SO FUN!
3. I am addicted to Bridezilla's on the WE channel :)
4. I love animals more than people :) Always have!
5. I HATE cheese
6. I love music and can name any song by any artist. My best is 70's-90's hard rock People even call me on the phone and ask me who sings what, lol!
Okay, enough about me, how about you??? I tag everyone that reads my blog and wants to play! Come on, join in the fun!
Have a beautiful week! Love to all, Amy

GASP! amy ... guess what ... I HATE CHEESE, TOO!!!

i mean i really hate it. i order pizza without it and half the time the pizza arrives with extra cheese instead of no cheese. thank you. i knew that there had to be someone else in the world!!!

no one can ever believe it so i have even made up the world "quesocentric" as in, we are living in a quesocentric (or cheese-centered) society!

I just loved the story about the motel, what a interesting way to grow up! Sweetie you need to do a post on just that, we'd all love it! I bet you could do a cute line of books for girls about the girl and her friend and the motel! Their adventures and people they meet! It could be in a lakeshore town in MI. O.K. now I'm getting carried away, but do tell us some more stories! I wish I was your little friend back then! Thanks for playing! Miss you, email me soon or write me a letter in your secret garden/tea area!! Love,Lori
